Portable Appliance Testing (PAT/EET)
Electrical equipment (PAT) testing is the quickest and easiest way of ensuring your environment is safe for your employees, customers or residents.
We check the structural integrity of each portable device, as well as its ability to regulate power, and any safeguarding measures implemented to avoid injury or risk of fire.
Do I need PAT testing?
While PAT testing isn't strictly a legal requirement, it is the most common and practical way to fulfill UK health and safety laws. It is highly recommended for employers, landlords (especially for HMOs), event organizers, and businesses to ensure electrical equipment connected to the mains is safe.
Broadly speaking, any electrical equipment that uses a flexible cable and plugs into the mains (like computers, kettles, power tools, and extension leads) requires testing. Battery-operated devices do not require a PAT test, though their mains chargers do.

A regular pattern of testing is the easiest and best way to show that you take the safety of your staff, customers and tennents seriously. Folling testing you will receive a clear report which indicates which items have been tested, and the results of the tests (including the reason for any failure).
Competitive pricing
£2 per item (£1.50 if more then 100 items to be tested).
For small numbers of items to be tested, a minimum site visit of £60 is charged.
If equipment which fails a test can be fixed with the replacement of a plug or fuse, then this will be done and retested. (£1 for replacement fuse, £3 for replacement/rewired plug)
